Overview

Overview: GRUBBRR, leader in self-ordering technology, partnered with Samsung to announce an All-In-One Kiosk solution aimed to help fast casual restaurants to easily implement self-ordering solutions. The Samsung Kiosk and GRUBBRR self-ordering eco-system was to be featured at the National Restaurant Association Show.
CHALLENGE
Franchise owners faced labor shortages, making automation a critical solution. However, with in-person trade show attendance at an all-time low post-COVID, we needed to create an experience that would captivate the limited audience and leave a lasting impression.
STRATEGY
To make the technology feel tangible, we designed an immersive, co-branded experience. We recreated three distinct fast-casual restaurant environments to demonstrate GRUBBRR's self-ordering ecosystem the Samsung Kiosk’s seamless integration into real-world workflows.
EXECUTION
We developed three unique restaurant concepts—Fat Slice (pizza), Bold Burger (fast food), Sol Bowl (healthy bowls), and repurposed a previous mock brand, Pico Burrito (Tex-Mex)—each with a fully branded mock restaurant setup. Attendees could see firsthand how Samsung’s Kiosk and GRUBBRR’s software enhanced efficiency.

Assets included:

Custom brand identities for each concept
UI/UX design for software demonstrations
Trade show booth design

Digital menus and animated signage showcasing dynamic pricing
BOOTH DESIGN
DIGITAL MENU BOARDS
MOTION GRAPHICS
RESULTS
Immersive Brand Experience – Attendees felt as if they had stepped into real fast-casual restaurants, drawing them in and encouraging deeper engagement.

Record Lead Generation – Despite low attendance, GRUBBRR captured over 900 qualified leads, making it the most successful show for the company in terms of lead generation.

New Industry Partnerships – The activation increased GRUBBRR’s visibility, leading to a strategic partnership with NCR, one of the largest enterprise-level POS providers, granting GRUBBRR access to NCR’s extensive client network.
